The Cape Fear Detachment 1070 offers scholarships annually to qualified individuals who intend
to pursue full time studies leading to a degree or certificate at an accredited institution.
| 1. Be a citizen of the United States. |
| 2. Be a dependent or direct descendent of a person who has served honorably or is currently serving in the United States Marine Corps or as a FMF Corpsman or Chaplain or is an Associate Member of Marine Corps League, Detachment 1070. |
| 3. Be a high school senior graduating by the end of this school year. |
| 4. Be accepted at an accredited college, university, or technical school for the next semester, as an undergraduate student. |
| 5. Have a GPA of 2.6 or higher on a 4.0 grade scale, or a "B-" average on a letter grading system. If there are "special" conditions that these qualifications are not met, you may submit a letter from your Guidance Office. |
